Ashley's Meadow

NOVEMBER 13TH 2009

My beloved Ashley, you were always aware of what was going on and always truly connected with me in spirit. In your life and death you were dignified. You understood the seriousness of the moment. I know you were sent to me to help me, to protect me, to humor me, to love me.

I loved and will always love you. You were a true companion and best friend. I will always remember your silly side and how you knew when I needed a good laugh. You provided stress relief for the staff at the Manhattan Care Center and they loved to play tug of war with you while talking about the frustrating situation they were dealing with at the front counter.

Everyone you met will always remember you. I know you will return to visit if you can and if not I understand. You have an amazing presence and I know you will always be my guardian. You were a Rottweiler through and through, and it was an honor to be your "Mom". The name I gave you fit you so well even though you looked the look and were very intimidating "Rottweiler style". You were a true lady and had such a softness and sweetness about you.

Your name means Ash Tree Meadow; we will create one here at Glen Wild Animal Rescue for you so all can come to sit and visit. You will be missed but not forgotten.

Love Forever,
From all who had the honor to meet you and be your friend
