When I was faced with the reality that the 19 dogs & 3 cats I cared for at Animal Haven Acres were losing their home in 2008 I almost lost my mind. I had to relocate myself and find a place for some of the dogs & cats that I had grown to love as my own. Then I prayed and prayed for help. God found a wonderful place for us and this April will be our one year anniversary here in Oneonta NY . Thank you to all that helped us move and feel free to visit or contact us regarding COURAGE, PETEY, ANNIE, ALANA, STANLEY, CHECKERS, SANDYMAE, CASEY, KALLIE, GIA, SLY & SEBASTIAN. We are home all together once again.

This spring we will be working on several projects such as Ashley's Meadow, a place to find peace and tranquility filled with ash trees. If you would like to have a tree planted in memory of a loved one that has passed please let us know and we will keep you posted on the progress and amount of the donation required for this project.
We are planning to build more paddock areas, more kennels and create areas such as our "real life rooms". In order to complete these projects we will offer the ability to have these spaces dedicated in ones name or in memory of a loved one. Keep an eye out for the lists of spaces and the donations requested for each space.
Glen Wild Animal Rescue provides lifetime care and several of our sanctuary animals are on prescrition diets and medication. We also spay & neuter all of our adoption animals prior to their departure. Please help us provide the care the animals need and deserve by donating to the Glen Wild Animal Rescue Veterinary Fund. All donations to this fund will go directly to pay for veterinary services for the animals of Glen Wild Animal Rescue.
Donations are needed at this time to help with the day to day care of the animals. Help us help them. In the one year we have added and helped many animals that have come to us. We currently have in our sanctuary 12 cats, 16 dogs all needing life time care. We have close to 20 dogs for adoption. We have helped place over 100 dogs that came through our doors for adoption. We provide Humane Education Services and currently work with teens in a juvenile detention center with our shelter dogs. We are working on expanding this program and need financial help to do so.
