Welcome to Glen Wild Animal Rescue
Glen Wild Animal Rescue provides humane education and pet adoption services in Delaware County, New York. We believe that the best place for an animal is in a loving home with its own family.
Glen Wild offers long term sanctuary care in addition to rehabilitation and placement services for the animals in our care. At any given time we have 40-45 dogs in our Rescue Central building. Many of these dogs are here for some TLC and basic training with the hopes that they will be adopted quickly. We have 10-15 cats in our front building. Some are long term sanctuary status; the others are becoming more social and a few are here under foster care while their owners relocate with the intention of taking their cats back once they are all settled in.
We are very busy and sometimes the site does not accurately reflect the number of animals we are taking care of. We hope with the help of our volunteers that this will change quickly.
